Illeostomy Tips1. eat small portions frequently 2. get plenty of liquids. I learned to take 1-3 Ensure Plus a day and Gatorade daily for my electrolyte imbalance 3. when in doubt juice it/blend it (Magic Bullet Blender is my favorite) 4. extra virgin olive oil (aka “Liquid Gold”) on my food to help with digestion 5. avoid blockages taking 100% Coconut Water when you feel a blockage coming on will open up the ostomy and prevent blockage.
